sent to the closest courier depot when an order is placed via credit
card / paypal / paybright. If you require a shipment to your apartment

Beyond Point / Rural / Remote (new and improved)

Oversize/Overweight definition. Multi piece packages and some
items weighing more than 35lbs (cubed shipping weight) may be deemed as
oversize as they are much more expensive to ship. Items such as large
speakers, digital pianos, fluids sold in case quantity are some
examples. We apply a GIANT discount to your shipping cost where items
are deemed oversize or overweight. Our customer service team will
always review your order and offer advice if one of your items is
classified as an oversize/overweight product that may be subject to

Shipping Insurance
We automatically provide $100.00 of shipping insurance to every order at no cost. If you would like additional insurance on the value of your order, please specify this in your checkout notes. Insurance is available in increments of $100.00 and typically equates to 3% - 6% of your order value in additional fees. Air Freight/Rush Shipping Services
Rush / Air service is only available by calling us toll free at 1 888 472 0070
(keep in mind air service is 3-10 times more costly than standard ground
rates and is totally optional.) We also offer BPX shipping which is
12-24 hours delivery time to many parts of Ontario and Quebec.Orders
requiring RUSH shipping options are subject to all normal shipping
charges. A quotation will be provided upon request. Rush Shipping can only be requested by phone at this time.
Overseas Shipments
Shipping outside of North America is very expensive. Typically these shipping rates are about the same price as buying a plane ticket. We will gladly provide a shipping quote for you or use some of the websites below to determine a ballpark idea on shipping cost. Credit Cards and Paypal are not accepted for overseas shipments. Orders must be paid in full using international wire transfer in advance.
What is Cubed Shipping Weight?
Cubed shipping weight is different than the weight of the actual product. Shipping companies do not use the actual product weight but rather they
use a formula based on the amount of space used in their trucks for the item when its packed inside a box for shipping. This
is called Dimensional weight or cubed shipping weight.
All of our product pages and invoice summaries indicate dimensions and cubed shipping weights.
To Calculate Dimensional Weight (example from Purolator)
Measure an item in its factory / shipping carton.
then multiply (Length x Width x Height) and divide that result by 172.80 to get the dimensional weight. (cubed weight)
Example an Acoustic Guitar might actually weigh under 10lbs but inside a
box for shipping it would have the dimensions of 51" x 20" x 9"
Using our formula
(51x20x9)divided by 172.80 = 54lbs cubed (even tho actual item weight might be 10-15lbs or less).

If you have a warranty concern or if you have received a damaged or DOA item, please contact us at 1 888 472 0070 to obtain a warranty RA number and to get instructions on further steps required to get your item processed quickly. Please ensure you have discussed all details with our customer service team either by phone or email before you return an item. We will gladly provide all support needed to take care of your item(s).
Loaners and Reduced rate rental items are available while your equipment is being serviced under warranty. (subject to local availability for the first 90 days of your warranty period)
Items purchased at one of our retail outlets may be returned in person during business hours. An original copy of your purchase receipt is required for warranty repair service or DOA replacement. If you have a DOA item that was purchased at our retail outlets, these items can often be swapped right away provided that you have all documents, inserts, bags, and packaging for the original item. Items returned without all accessories and packaging will be treated as a warranty repair service.
Items purchased on-line must contact our toll free number at 1 888 472 0070 and discuss the problem with our customer service team who will then advise you of steps required to complete your warranty service.

clearance product, these items will only be replaced if defective and

All shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and your warranty return must include a copy of your original sales receipt or invoice with a detailed explanation of the nature of your issue so that we can make a hasty repair. Items which were received via mail order in non functional condition or which become non functional within 10 days of ownership shall be considered DOA and are eligible for free warranty replacement in most cases. In the event of DOA or non functional within 10 business days, customer is responsible to return the item at their expense and a replacement unit shall be forwarded at no cost to the customer when the defective item is received and processed by our shipping team. Our customer service team can assist you in processing a return shipment as we have much better shipping rates than most consumers can get from a shipping depot. We can even create a return shipping label for you and send it by email if desired.
Quality assurance guarantee
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase from Acclaim Sound and Lighting, simply return it to us within 30 days of the invoice date for a refund or exchange for full merchandise value. 1. Call 1.888 472 0070 for a return authorization number. 2. Re-pack the item in new condition. Please double box item including its original packaging (including all inserts, plastic bags, manuals and accessories) and send it back to us, return postage must be paid by the customer. Products in like new condition will receive an exchange or refund for the full merchandise value. Free shipping and discounted shipping offer amounts will be deducted from your credited value. Damaged or defective items must be reported immediately upon receipt. Failure to report defects or damage within 15 days will nullify this guarantee. Items shipped to the USA do not qualify for this offer.
NOTE: Please do not use DUCK tape when returning packages....clear box tape is the best choice to avoid damage to your packaging.
Return Exceptions:
All approved returns must be in new condition with all original boxes, accessories, and packaging or they will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Gear that has been rack mounted, damaged gear due to misuse, and any product that looks used and cannot be resold as new, will automatically be charged a 25% restocking fee. Ask your sales representative if you are unsure if the fee applies to your return.
Returns to our retail locations. Our retail centers frequently have special offers and exclusive savings not available online. These outlets also have display models and or featured items which may not be eligible for refund. If you made a purchase at one of our retail locations we will gladly provide you with a 30 day exchange or store credit and all other terms and conditions shall apply.
All special order items are 100% guaranteed to be free of defects by the manufacturer. Since these item(s) are specifically ordered for you, they cannot be returned for credit or exchange.
