Kala KA-UBASS-EM-FS Exotic Mahogany Electric Fretted U-Bass Ukulele-Satin Finish with gig bag ka-ubass-em-fs
The KA-UBASS-EM-FS from Kala is an exotic mahogany electric U-Bass fitted with a mahogany neck, back and sides, and a walnut fingerboard and bridge.
It can be used by musicians and students in recording studios, rehearsals, for playing live on stage, and more.
This U-BASS produces the same pitches as a standard bass instrument and is tuned in traditional bass tuning: E-A-D-G. Featuring 16 frets in a 21" scale, the U-Bass has an active EQ and built-in tuner to provide tone control and spot-on tuning. The walnut fingerboard on the UBASS-EM-FS has custom inlays, as well as side neck-markings at the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, and 12th positions to help identify the 16 fret locations.
The built-in custom Hipshot Ultralite tuners ensure the instrument will stay in tune, and is set up with Road Toad Pahoehoe polyurethane strings. A deluxe gig bag for transport is included.
